Yesterday we ventured out in the snow to do a little furniture shopping. We paid for 2 new night stands that match our bedroom furniture but opted to wait until today to pick them up. So today Dale's Uncle Jimmy took him to pick them up, I'm totally excited to have a matching bedroom set! (As you can tell in the picture, I never made the bed today)
Today we received our Christmas present from My cousin, Amie and her husband Toby. I love Tervis Tumblers! A perfect gift for Dale and I! Thanks guys!
Cold day! We closed the clinic around 11:30 so I have been home a good bit more of the day than normal. Which I enjoyed! I put away the silver punch bowl and serving pieces that were still out from the shower. I had such a busy week this was the first time I actually got around to putting them away. Then I unloaded the dishwasher and warmed up the chili that I made this morning. Later Dale and I are going to watch the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th episodes of the first season of Heroes.
Spent the evening snuggled on the sofa with Dale and Scooter anticipating the cold weather.
Today I had a visit with a very special little girl and her family! We had a really good time, we played and she gave me a picture!
I'm looking forward to the next visit already!
Today we celebrated Sarah's 19th Birthday! I had lunch with her and Aunt KK at the hospital and then later we celebrated again at our Great Strides meeting! Amy made her a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and butterfingers on top; it was quite delicious!
We got a lot accomplished and had a lot of laughes!
Micah's Baby Shower!!! The day finally came. I think it went really well, I hope everyone had a good time. They got some really nice things and some adorable baby clothes! I imagine that she is looking forward to sweet baby Keaton's arrival more than ever. I really enjoyed visiting with the family and meeting some for the first time.
Watched Hayden play basketball again today. He did an amazing job! The kid in orange was the kid he had to guard! Pretty big for a second grader. I wish I had video taped when he made a shot at the buzzer that ended the first half. He was so pumped, he said that was his favorite part of the game. 
After an exciting afternoon of searching for a table cloth, I came home and made oreo balls for Micah's shower. I can't wait for the shower!
This is where I spent most of my day today, actually this is where I spend a lot of my time during my work days. It is a cylinder machine it fines out and polishes the lenses we generate in our lab. As you can tell the polish is really messy and I usually get it on my scrubs.
Diaper Wreath DONE! I love marking things off my lists! Sometimes I make lists just so I can mark things off of them! For my next project I am toying with the idea of making a banner for the mantle; I would happily accept any suggestions. 
I finished the diaper cake for Micah's shower. What do y'all, my loyal readers, think? I still have a lot to do before Sunday, but I am really excited to have everyone here!

Today I started working on decorations for Micah's baby shower, I made the wreath and the diaper cake. I can't wait to decorate them this week! I hope they turn out really cute! I also cleaned the stove and ordered new drip pans and rings! These are the things that excite me!
Today we got to see Hayden play basketball again. He did really well and scored 3 goals!
We also got to see Amber leading her cheer squad, they were so cute and did a great job!
Day 15

Tonight we went to Little Rock to eat with my cousin Amie and her husband Toby. We intended to go to The Outback Steakhouse, but when we got there the wait was really long. So we went to the Texas Roadhouse and the wait was long there to. We ended up at Fox and the Hound where we got a table as soon as we walked in. We had a really good time despite the fact that we never saw the band play because they kept delaying their start time. 
Today I had visitors at work! My cousins, Elaine and Sarah were in town for Sarah's doctors appointment and I was happy to see them. I don't think I had seen Elaine since September. We had a nice visit and while they were at the office Sarah drank her yummy orange drink for her glucose test. Other than my visitors my day was pretty ordinary. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend!
Slow day in the Wyatt house. Since everyone was posting "way back" pictures to their facebook I decided to post one of mine here also. This was taken at Granny Lou's house in 1984. 
Today I've been working on Micah's baby shower invitations! I love my Cricut; this was my first time to use my new sports cartridge and oh boy do I love it! The baby's room will be decorated with baseball stuff so we decided do make the shower a baseball theme. I've had so much fun planning and I'm so excited for the approaching date!
Today was Hayden's first Upward basketball game of the year. He did great! It is so fun to watch him play especially when he was so obviously enjoying it! He scored several times, I can't remember how many times but I am sure he could tell us. I'll try to remember to ask him and update the number of points he made. He would always check to make sure we saw him whenever he scored or made a good play.

Great night! After work I stopped in to take some stew to my grandparents and then headed out for a great night out in Little Rock! We loaded up with our great friends JJ, Leah Ann and Heath and left for Guisanos to enjoy some pizza. Our favorite pizza that is! Buffalo Chicken! It's amazing; makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Afterward we went next door to The Flying Saucer but it was packed and cold and the band that we wanted to see at Cajun's Wharf would be starting soon. It was cold there as well since it is right on the Arkansas River and almost the entire wall facing the river is glass. Leah Ann and I tried to warm up from the warmth of a candle! We had an amazing time dancing to the music of PG13!
This is Jen and I leaving work tonight, we really don't like the below freezing temperatures! Pretty uneventful day; but now I'm watching football and eating stew with my honey!
At Dale Wayne's Family's Christmas, where we play the dirty Santa game, I got a George Foreman Quesadilla Maker. As anyone who knows me can testify I love Mexican food, so I was really excited. Tonight Dale and I made our first quesadillas , he cooked the meat while I prepared the sides and toppings. It was really fun to work together in the kitchen and our end product turned out delicious!
Scooter loved the snow. When I first let him out this morning I couldn't see him out there in all that white! I wish I could have stayed home and played in the snow, but I had to go to work. I was nervous about getting out on our street since it was still covered in snow; so I was happy when a Dawn a friend, coworker and neighbor called and asked if I wanted to ride with her. 
Hard to tell in this picture but it was snowing. We pretty much had a lazy day; I read a book and Dale watched football. We did go to Hastings to meet Dale's cousin to discuss plans for an upcoming baby shower for her daughter. I am so excited to get to know them better!
One last picture of the tree before I take it down today. I have a lot to do before we head to Kim and Steve's to watch the Razorbacks play in the Liberty Bowl. Good times with good friends ahead!
