Today we took a bunch of pictures with the relatives, did a little shopping and went to Miranda's cheer competition. It was great! They did really well and I was so proud of her.
I actually took this picture yesterday, but it couldn't share the blog with the waffle. I can't believe how tall Mitch is! We didn't get to see him this summer when we went to the lake house because he had ball games and didn't come. It's great to see him. Today we went to watch him play baseball.
Breakfast this morning at the hotel: the coolest waffle in the world! It was really good too! Now we are back on the road and actually thinking about our next meal. Jeremy wants us to meet them at a Casa Ole that would be convienent for both drivers and that has (his favorite) Casa Ole Green Sauce. I finally found "the one" restaurant that would work after an hour of research and calling the restaurant!
What a busy morning! We drank coffee while wrapping birthday presents, then my grandparents came down for breakfast. When they walked in Madi said, "Grandma's here!" It was too precious! Then we headed for Hayden's basketball game, where he played a GREAT game! He had a few nice steals and some good shots as well.

Hayden's party started at 2:30 and the kids had a great time! I am sure they all slept well that night. The cake had a picture of Hayden with his first deer which he thought was very cool!

Pine box derby race! They boy scouts had a great time at the derby, so did our family. We all got a chance to visit and play with Hayden and Chase. I was so glad to have Mom, Dad and Jeremy here for a visit. Big weekend! Devin and Madi will be here shortly and tomorrow we have Hayden's basketball game at 11 AM and his birthday party at 2:30 PM.

Not much to report today. Finally hung one of Dale's Christmas presents today. I love when we have visitors! Anticipating their arrival really helps me get things done! I also had to run to Staples (on company time) my boss was there and wanted me to bring her the printer from her office. While there I picked up a small cork board for the office as well ($4 a great bargain in my eyes). Dale and I are still watching season one of Heroes; we watched 2 episodes tonight and are really enjoying it. I also cleaned off the dining room table in preparation to move it to Dale's parents' house. We are excited to be getting a new/used table!
